United - Tottenham

United take on rivals Tottenham Hotspurs on 24 jan. in the F.A. Cup.

They will also meet in the League Cup Final later on.

There is a list of defensive players out. Sir Alex Ferguson has a lot to think about. Gary Neville got only a minor knock so hopefully he can make the first 11. On the other hand, Rio Ferdinand, Johny Evans, Patrice Evra, Rafael and Wes Brown have small chances of playing on Saturday. They will be missed.
Rooney is also out because he limped off after scoring the 1'st minute match-winning goal at the 'Reebok Stadium', in the game against Bolton Wanderers. That leaves the team without an important man up front. Anderson is also injured, there is no news about how bad it is. His strength in the middle could have been beneffic for United.
Tevez is surely to be named in the starting line-up and young Danny Welbeck can have his chance as a second-half substitute. Young Serbian left-midfielder Tosic could make his official debut for United. He missed the home game with Derby County in the League Cup because the coach was forced to bring on other players due to unfortunate injuries. Hope he can make a good impact in English football and adapt quickly into the team. He could be a replacement for Ryan Giggs, who will eventually retire.
Dimitar Berbatov is a player who can make the difference and win a game on his own. Is sure to play against his old club.

Despite the fact they had a disappointing start to the season, Tottenham has a strong team. Harry Redknapp made sure they're on the right way. He even brought Jermaine Defoe back from Portsmouth. There has been a lot of fuss about that. Much respect for their coach, he is an important figure in English football.
On-loan United player, Frazier Campbell has proven his qualities many times, also scored for the Spurs a couple of games. Hope he won't do that tomorrow.
Keep an eye on their midfield, they have players like : Aaron Lennon, Tim Huddlestone, Zokora, David Bentley, Jermaine Jenas, Luka Modric, Jamie O'Hara. Just look at those names.

My Line-Up:
Van der Sar - Neville, Vidic, O'Shea, Fletcher - Ronaldo, Scholes, Gibson, Tosic - Tevez, Berbatov
Possible Score:
Go United!

Let me introduce myself. My name is Ocsi, I am from Romania.

Football is a sport that can do wonders. Although it has become a real industry in the past years, let's not forget about the simple joy it can offer, the happiness of scoring a goal, the sadness of conceding one. We have all lived moments of enthusiasm, supporting our favorite club, seen what a football arena looks and feels like when we shout and sing, together with thousands of other people. That feeling is simply breathtaking.
Football is a bridge between people of any kind. It is a common language.

I am a F.C. Manchester United fan. My posts on this blog will mostly regard news and personal opinions about the 2007/2008 Uefa Champions League and Premier League Champions.

It is well known that MU is the biggest football club in the world. Fans from all over the world dream of seeing 'the red devils' at Old Trafford, including myself.

Hopefully, this blog can bring together football fans and enjoy what has become the world of Man United.
